Gamù - About Gamù

Gabriella Matulli (Gamù) was born in Brisighella in the province of Ravenna. At the age of 18 she began her journey into the world of music, studying singing for 5 years, specialising in lyrics and jazz. Her instrument of choice is the guitar, but through the years she has played pretty much everything! Once she could afford her own equipment to perform publicly, she hit the road in search of new rhythms and melodies - pushing her voice and her guitar to new extremes.

For the last 16 years, Gamù has been playing throughout Italy, writing and performing songs from every genre of music. She won the Rino Gaetano prize for originality with her track "W LA VITA". Her unique style of composing has always been the distinguishing feature of her music. Gamù now wants to give back to the world by publishing her music.

Gamù likes the simplicity and solitude of life as much as she adores the chaos. The light and dark; the sunrise and sunset. She likes to eat well but not too much. She loves to travel in spring and to walk through the winter snow. Things are never grey, they are always black or white. In the springtime Gamù enjoys painting, but only during the month of May.
She cooks for her friends. She has lots of dreams. She doesn't have real memories of her life, only the belief that she has always loved art in all its forms.

I have an incredible mother who makes the best "ragù" in the world.
Her tagliatelle is very famous! She owns the local restaurant and all her customers are like children to her. "
